and the others....

My Dad wondered if the market was perhaps Liskeard Market?

I don't know about the wrestling? Looks like some kind of fete perhaps.

Is that St. Michaels Mount?

Cheers
Kieran

It certainly looks like The Mount from Marazion. The tide just covering the causeway.
If I knew where it was, I have a photo too. Taken by the sea wall next the this place. In the box marked 1000's of holiday snaps, I expect.  :-\

A project for another day, to load and file ALL holiday snaps.  ;D

I know that feeling Lesanne, too many photos to know what to do with!

I've just spent out to have lots of old negatives developed of my Nan's, it's all she inherited, no photo's.  Sadly she's no longer here to see them again so I'm really greatfull for everyones helps to identify the places her family visited 80 years ago.

Thanks
Kieran  :)

The second one could be the old tin mines at Botallack near St Just, not far from Cape Cornwall.

The third one is definitely St Michaels Mount at Marazion near Penzance, as Lesanne says.

John

Just a suggestion - I wonder if No 7 is St. Blazey.  I am by no means certain - it just reminds me of it.

No 8 - or what about Levant mine near Pendeen, same area as Botallack.

No 9 - as already said, St Michael's Mount.

The others I suspect are all taken in the same place, but I've no idea where.  Not even a helpful church tower in sight!

Hi

3,5 & 6 defintely Newquay, with no 6 overlooking Towan and Great Western beaches, not Fistral. (I'm a Newquay girl)

12 & 13 - possibly St Columb Major cattle market. 12 certainly looks very similar.

Hope that helps a bit.
