Hi has anyone the parish records for East Grinstead 1662 l am looking for baptisim of Thomas Farrant sometimes spelt Farrance as l would like to find his parents father could have been John.

Is 1662 the exact year? The LDS site have a Thomas Farrant who was christened on 20 APR 1691 in East Grinstead to Thomas and Sarah and another Thomas Farrant christened on 07 JAN 1694 in East Grinstead again to a Thomas and Sarah.

Almost sure it was 1662 as Thomas born 1694 was the son of Thomas Farrant and Sarah Ling thanks for your help.

In the 1770s, there was a property known as Farrants in East Grinstead.

My Streeter ancestors occupied it, in addition to their primary abode at Dunnings Farm, near Saint Hill Manor.
