Freemasonry in Meath and Westmeath - Link
« on: Monday 28 November 05 03:10 GMT (UK) »
I have noticed the occasional query on these boards from people whose ancestors were members of the Masonic Order. It seems reasonable to me that information about the Order should be on these boards. Why waste time surfing when a link can be found at RootsChat. www.meath.org/History.html

Christopher:
Thanks for a great site. I read it quickly and have bookmarked it as a resource. I never really had any idea of the influence of Freemasonry in Ireland.
It would appear that no serious study of the political and social history of Ireland can be complete without consideration of Freemasony.

Thanks again.
