Howarth Look-up post 1900

I am trying to look up a relative by the name of Violet Howarth born in the Rotherham area around 1919
I am sure her mothers name was May
she(Violet)was married to Joseph Willis.
I will be grateful for any information you can find for me

Information so far after 1901 is difficult to find.  Your best bet would be to look for her birth and marriage  and get a copy of her birth and marriage certificates

You can search the partial GRO index which is still being transcribed and by no means finished yet at http://www.freebmd.rootsweb.com/ for free. However, births into the 1900's are a lot scarcer than earlier ones so you may not be lucky

If you live in the UK, you can search the full GRO indexes for free at your local main reference library.  A copy is also available at your nearest LDS family history centre.
