Superb.

As I said earlier, he was with the RAF during WW2 and is believed to have went AWOL.  He turned up and a great aunt of mines in Vermont, America.  She wanted nothing to do with it, gave him money and he was never seen again.  He probably changed his name to avoid being caught.  He would have to arrange citizenship though would he not?

I really don't know about gaining citizenship. Might he have obtained that by marrying an American woman?
