I am hoping that I've got it right,  but my grandmother margaret jane lamb married john dobson Her father was Peter Lamb.  He drowned in the mersey  sometime before 1916 (margarets wedding cert said he was deceased).  His mother was a sarah culshaw (I hope I have found the right one) and her family were barge people.  below is a pic of her on her wedding day
