It's James Sumner married Mary
She was Mary Walters

And her son was John with the Surname Walter, but could be Walters.  Easy mistake to make

Yep, I took the Walters as a forename, not as a surname

Did a search in the 1891 for John Walters, came back with 500+ hits, but when narrowed down to associated with Kent / Sussex or Speldhurst - there was nothing that met your criteria
