You have inadvertently posted on the Beginners Links board, so I am going to move your post across to the East Riding of Yorkshire board for you.

hello again
If the info above is the correct John Rudston then he doesn't appear on the 1881 census but freebmd has a death entry for a John Rudston in the December 1/4 of 1852.

Hello BettyBoop

When I was a boy the girls had a Comic with Betty Boops in it.
I had a paper round and had a quick look at it, she always had
big tears in her eyes.

1841 Census Hessle HO107/1232/7
page 14b
William Rudston 60  Ind
Mary          "       55

Next door but 1

page 15a
John Rudston 30 Blacksmith
Elizabeth  "    25
Betsey      "     7
Emma       "      3
Sarah        "     2

All born in County

Remember ages above 15 in the 1841 Census were rounded down
to be divisible by 5.
I noticed John was a blacksmith in 1851.
Regards Oly
