A Conundrum
« on: Sunday 04 December 05 21:14 GMT (UK) »
I have an ancestor called Ralph BURGESS and Ralph married "Jane" between the 1851 and 61 census and by 1861 they had a daughter age 9 so we're looking really at only a couple of years (say between 1851-53 [assuming they married of course])

Ralph was from Peover, Cheshire and Jane was from Warrington, Lancashire.  In 1851 Ralph was living in Macclesfield and then in 1861 they are living in Ardwick, Lancashire.

I cannot find a marriage anywhere to fit and I wondered if anyone had any bright ideas please?

Thanks

~ Claire
