Piccadilly is a good place to start, but I think the MLFHS bookshop in Clayton house is shut on a saturday (just checked website)
I will give them a ring tomorrow just to comfirm one way or the other as the website page was last updated in 2002.

Hei everyone,

Sarah mentioned the this Rootschat Meet to me. I read about last year's one and would love to attend this one. May I bring a guest or is it restricted to Rootschat members?

Could some kind soul please let me know immediately the arrangements are finalised so that I know where to be and at what time. I have friends who live at Warrington and would like to see them whilst I am in the area. My guest, if she is able to come and I am allowed to bring her, will be travelling from Swindon, Wiltshire.

Best Wishes, Christopher

Just rang MLFHS bookshop - They do not open on a Saturday, so we can knock that off the things to do list.

I had my first visit to the town hall in December and was amazed how wonderful it was! I think they do guided tours which I imagine be really interesting - certainly the architecture and busts were interesting!

When I was there I was trying to get hubby to part with money as they had a jewelery exhibition so always planned to go back to do the tour!

Not sure if I can make it as it's my birthday weekend - had hoped I could try again to get hubby to part with some money! (He's a Scot!)

If I can't make it hope you have a great day!
