I haven't been on rootsweb for around two years,thought i would check their freecen page see where they are up to on the 1891 census.Now compleated,and easy to use,I found three  ancestors that i wasn't sure where still in Luton and Stafford.One of the sons i didn't have at all with his wife and children. so great find, you can just type in the surename then take your pick

It's a good site, and easy to use - agreed.

But 1891 completed?  Mmm, not so sure about that.  If it is then they should update their coverage page.  Only Bedfordshire, Cornwall and Devon are described as 100% online and a large number of the remaining counties are 0%.

Hi 
Paid a quick visit to feecen last night to see how far on they were with he census.Haven't been on the site for a long time.A lot has happened since then.very easy to use,I never knew if one of my G.Uncles was still  in the same place.so never asked for a lookup.I just typed in the surename and up he came.The first census as a married man with wife and children.I already knew who he was married to and his children,but freecen gives you that bit of extra information.Even a newbie could use them

Thanks for that celia...I've just taken a look for my William Yarwood, but he wasn't there...not to worry I can't find him on 1891 Ancestry.co.uk either 

However I have added that very useful site to my favorites.

I have an apology to make,I missinformed on the completion of the census.Stovepipe has informed me that only Bedford,Cornwall, & Devon are compleat.I must have read the information to quickly,awfully sorry bout that
I just got lucky because the ones i found were in bedfordshire.
