1851/1861 Census
« on: Tuesday 06 December 05 06:13 GMT (UK) »
Lookup requested for William and Charlotte Louisa Perry.

I am unsure of William's age or birthplace but Charlotte was born about 1803 Southwark, Surrey . This is according to the 1871 entry where she is shown as age 66.  In 1871 she was living with her son Frederick W Perry and she is shown as married. If William can be found in earlier census with Charlotte, then perhaps I can find him in the 1971 census.

Thanks

Think I found the family in 1861 but some of the page is blank and most of it unreadable :'(
RG9/314/171/29. The index shows

Wm Perry born 1820
Louisa c Perry born 1825
Edwin born 1850
Robert W born 1855
Fred W born 1858
Henry born 1860

Maybe someone else can read more than I was able to, the only other bit I was able to read was that they lived in New Street Southwalk

Sorry but don't think either William is mine - whoops with such a common name.
William and Charlotte had a son Frederick William born 1835, Lambeth, so while there is a FW, the birth date is not right. FW Perry married in 1856 to a Julia Mary Green in Shoreditch.

Perhaps they are still in Lambeth, Surrey and not in the London, Middlesex area at all.

Hi  :)

The 1861 Census is online now on  www.1837online.com/
If you find Frederick it will give an address (of sorts).  For full details you have to pay, but you could request an address look-up for 1861 and 1851 in case he is still there.
(Hope that is clear).

Best wishes
Good luck
