1901 Leftovers: For Berlin Bob - Advice please!!
« on: Tuesday 06 December 05 17:58 GMT (UK) »
Bob

I've started to do my 1901 transcribing but have a query.

Could you have a look at my thread http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,111137.0.html and it's the bit towards the end about transcribing extra words that have been written in a different hand.

Could you advise me what to do please?

Many thanks

Jan :)

Hi Jan,

I was following the thread, and hoping someone would come up with an "official" answer   ;D

If nobody does, then I would suggest the following ...

Put anything 'added' in {..} brackets.
I will add a note to the output to explain what this means.

If everybody does the same, then that can become our standard

Bob
