How useful is Rootschat ??
« on: Friday 09 December 05 13:06 GMT (UK) »
I've just received a death certificate this morning and the cause of death was 'Phthisis'.

This rang bells from ages ago, so I went hunting on previous posts and there it was on 15 July "Cause of Death" query giving me the answer of TB and also links to other illness/disease names.

Just goes to show how useful keeping old posts is.  Thanks Rootschat.

I put a post on a Scottish county board over a year ago and got a reply a few weeks ago from a rellie whose side of the family had emigrated to America. It just goes to show what a useful place this is to park markers for other people to find you. Searching Rootschat for key words can throw up some amazing information.
