From a 1881 census I found
Hannah Gay born Crowan cornwall Head
Thomas Gay Born Llantrisnt  Glamorgan    Stepson
Emma Gay   born Llantrisant Glamorgan    Daughter
 I am hoping someone may be able to give me more info on this family. Somwhere there should be a William Gay who was husband and father and also a son to a previos marriage William born Penzance Cornwall 1858. William didn't emigrate to Australia until 1883-1884. Any info on any of these people greatly received
