Ann Dyer 1847 W/Stoke No marriage record.

Trish, My own grandmother Frances married 1900, it seems that after this her gmother Mary Ann Dyer moved to Westbury.Dare I say it but was she put into an institution there or placed somewhere near her daughter ANN.All supposition but I have gone through the Free BMD SO MANY TIMES WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS.
the only possible one being,,,,
JULIA SUSANNAH DYER marriage to Thomas Perrett June 1874.

She seems to still be in Fisherton Delamere with her grandaughter Frances in 1901, together with husband and babe of 4 months. So moved sometime after that. Grandma having raised Frances, perhaps her mother was in service earning money - or had a husband & didn't want to tell him about a daughter.



In 1881 there is an Anne Parrett who is a widow, says she is born Westbury, running a shop in London. Not a very good fit.   
There is also a lady in a couple of census married to a Lewis Perrett - but they married before 1870  OR  she may be his second wife, as in 1891 there is a child born 1889, who is 10 years younger than the other siblings (and they have all vanished).

No alot of help I think - grrr - I will no doubt be mortified when someone easily finds her

If you don't have the census information let me know & I'll post the details

If, like me, you have time and no money       it may be worth finding an LDS centre with the indexes and searching through them. I fear it would be a fairly high cost to trawl through 1837online.

SORRY to all who have helped on this,

After searching Trowbridge Records yesterday, found the correct burial details for the mother of Ann Dyer W/Stoke 1847.
FISHERTON DELAMERE Burial Records state,
MARY ANN DYER age 90,    buried on December 19th 1912,by R.O.Willams, Vicar.
Mary Ann living Bapton.

This cancels out all reference to any PERRETT family.

Yes, now have the right Mary Ann Dyer,but still no marriage for her eldest daughter ANN DYER b 1847.
Waiting for M.A.Dyer death cert, hoping that will give me a lead.
