Beau Regard Hotel, Wallingford

Hi there
Has anyone ever heard of this hotel?

My Great Great Grandmother ran this hotel, probably in the 1920's but I haven't found any information on it yet.

Would love to know anything about it, even where it was.

Hi Keiran, there are a couple of adverts for the hotel in the Times in the 1920 which both read as follows, hopefully it may give you a little bit more info on where it was situated 

August 22nd 1928 - Wallingford, Hotel Beau-Regard. The principal Hotel on the upper reaches of the Thames 1/4 mile river frontage. Resident Manager. 'Phone Warborough 38/7

Looking at Genuki, it seems that Wallingford was in Berkshire before 1974, maybe you could find something in a Berkshire directory on http://www.historicaldirectories.org ?
