Paul,

you are a complete star!!  My Dad is practically doing cartwheels! He was brought up by his auntie, Sarah Ann and knew next to nothing about her background.

Thanks so much

Ali

Paul,

I take it it doesn't tell you the churches for the weddings and baptisms?  My Dad thinks they lived over the road from Mold parish church, so i'm assumimg that this is where it was.

Thanks again

Ali

Ali,

Your Dad is correct all the records where taken from St Marys next to Milford St.
On google www.virginmary.org.uk Look in Resources for Weddings Maps, Images and Services, scroll down to sketch maps. Click to enlarge.

Found this Today Sarah Ann's Granddads Marriage.
July 1 1837.
Hugh Roberts. 22. Miner. abode Hendrebiffa.Father Robert. Miner.
Sarah Davies. 21. Mold. Father Thomas. Sawyer.
Witnesses. Henry Corbet & Jane Bartley.
Henry Corbet is the only one to sign.

Sarah was Baptised on May 26 1816. Mother Mary.

I hope the maps bring back some nice memories for your Dad.

Paul.
