I have a picture of a man in an Irish Guards uniform.  Any suggestions as to how to identify him??  Merry Xmas to all.   Thanks  M a r g e

I think that modern day Guards have their buttons in specific order. For instance groups of 3 or groups of 4. Not sure if this helps.  There are a number of sites that show uniforms. You could try googling Irish Guards.

Merry Christmas :) :) :)

Marge, Jean,s idea is the best one,if there is nowt unusal about the photo it will be very hard to identify the man.
Anything on the back of it?One of the family?Full dress or battledress? Can you get it onto the site as an attachment? You never know, someone will come up with something!!Also, put it on Armed Services board, some Sherlock's there!
