I im looking to confirm that William NORMANDALE of Scarborough and Jane LEAVENS (M Dec 1815) are my GREAT GREAT GREAT grandparents. My great great grandmother Jane NORMANDALE married William MACKINGS (MACHINS/MACHIN/MACKING) in Scarborough. In the 1851 census her mother Jane NORMANDALE b. Scarborough is a visitor.

Can anyone help?

Hi,Probably no help to you-BUT possibly of interest IF you do not already know about it-a book entitled FIRST OF THE FLOOD,by Fred Normandale.I have just received it for christmas,and of course it is all about Scarborough-and the cobbles/fishing boats etc.Published by YORK PUBLISHING SERVICES,can give you the address IF of interest to you. ::)
