Hi

I'm trying to trace John Walter Brian married in 1920 in Loughor Llanelly to Catherine Anne Smith. They seem to have stayed in the area having six children between 1920 and 1925. Both have their residence as Penylan Road Loughor on the marriage certificate what ever this is. I have various other details but have reached an impasse. I am trying to confirm anything about them?

Any information or pointers gratefully received.

Have you looked on the 1901 census for them if you have the marriage certificate it will have their parents so you would at least know where they where born and if they had siblings.
Thats if you want that info or are you looking for them from 1920 onwards?

Although Loughor was a sub registration of Llanelli until the end of 1934, it is actually in Glamorgan - the river Loughor is the boundary between Carmarthenshire and (now West) Glamorgan. Other, later, events could be recorded in Swansea.

Hi
Many thanks to all for the information. I have finally tracked the family down to Kent and Ireland where my research is now concentrated.

Happy hunting
