John and Charlotte Jones marriage

Hello
Could anyone help I'm looking for the marriage of John Jones to Charlotte which probably took place sometime before 1795.
John and Charlotte lived at Aston Rowant and had children bap there between 1795 and 1811 but I could not find a marriage for them in Aston Rowant.

I've checked the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837), and this is the only John JONES/Charlotte marriage recorded (any date/place):

05 JUN 1817 - John JONES to Charlotte TOWNSEND at Fulbrook

Coincidentally, I have the Fulbrook PRs (transcribed by the OFHS) so did a little more "digging".  Interestingly, there is no record of John and Charlotte having any children baptised in Fulbrook and neither of them were buried there.

Perhaps John took Charlotte off to Fulbrook to "make a decent woman of her" well away from their home parish - I leave you to draw your own conclusions!

To add to what Pennie has said, I've checked the incomplete North Berkshire Marriage Index 1538-1851 -  http://searches.oxfordshirefhs.org.uk/ - and can confirm that there are no examples therein of a John JONES marrying a Charlotte.
