Robert Armour Maillie married Sarah Smith Galbraith
on 26th Aug. 1904 at Bridgend, Bathgate, Scotland.
Whilst he was serving in the army during the First World War, Sarah left him, taking their six children to America.
He divorced her, in her absence in 1930. the following info. is from documents I have obtained from the National Archives of Scotland.
She left on 27th Aug. 1920, accompanied by her mother,
Mary Galbraith. There was an item in the local newspaper
giving details of her eldest daughter, Mary Sneddon Smith Galbrath's marriage in October, 1927, in McAlpine,
Raleigh County, West Virginia.
I can't find any records on the Ellis Island site, can anyone help me find the family, please ?

Andrew Armour, b. 25th June, 1909
Robert Armour, b. 18th Nov., 1911
Margaret Galbraith, b. 25th Jan., 1919

The surname for all of them is MAILLIE, but the spelling may have been altered. I would be very grateful for any
help offered.
