Jack - Midlothian
« on: Tuesday 03 January 06 06:53 GMT (UK) »
Looking for information on Thomas JACK and Janet MARSHALL, who married in Nov 1822 in Muiravonside.

On the IGI I can only find 2 children
Christina (or misspelt Christain) b 1826
and
Thomas Stone b 1828.

Christina married John Finlayson in 1851 and after his death (bef 1858) she married David MILLER, born 1812 in Liberton.

David and Christina's children were
Mary Dickson m James FERGUSON (b 1848/9 in Fintry)in 1875 and emigrated to New Zealand
James Gilmour
Christina
Liley

Any info would be helpful

Hi Viv!

Could this be another son for Thomas & Janet....

The IGI has an extracted record for the christening of William Jack, the son of Thomas Jack and Janet Marshall, at Bothkennar, Stirling, on 6th March 1824.

It's not much, but I hope it helps!
