Paterson Births from Grange Banff

Hi Isobel,

I was wondering the cemetery in Guelph, Ontario, I like to take pictures of stones that have where the people were from and then see if I can match them up to people on the internet doing research (sad I know, need a life  )

I found a William Paterson, native of Banffshire, Scotland who was 80 years old when he died in 1901.

Just thought I would pass that along.

You mean Hogg's in Guelph?  I worked with a Hogg.

I only know that Hogg's went to  Ontario but don't know exactly where.  I know I traced Rosina Hogg to marrying in Grey County Ontario.  With regards to others I have no idea I have some census information but it is like a needle in a haystack trying to find them.

Rosana Hogg daughter of Thomas Hogg and Mary Bell who married John Hutton

There's also a William Hogg son of Robert Hogg & Janet Bell who married Martha Brown.

Rosina daughter of Thomas and Mary is mine.  Robert Hogg I cannot connect to.

I also have a Peter who married Elizabeth in 1852 and they had family Mary Janet Thomas and Roxanne all in Ontario.  There was also Thomas who married an Elizabeth and their children were Thomas, Elizabeth Jane and Rossina also all born Ontario

There's a death registration for Peter Hogg born March 2, 1830, Scotland who died in 1910 in Grey County.  Do you have that info?

There is also Peter's daughter's Mary & Jennie's marriage information.
