hi.
would it be possible for someone to find a birth,
i am looking for
robert oadley born 1866, maybe banbury,
the problem is i dont know his mothers name but his father was robert west,
and what makes it harder is that they were travellers,
any help would be welcome

The parish registers of Banbury St Mary and of Banbury Christ Church have been transcribed and indexed by the members of Oxfordsshire FHS.

I've checked the baptisms in these two parishes for the years 1865, 1866 and 1867, and am sorry to report that I can't find any trace of your Robert OADLEY. Of course, he could have been baptised in any of the many rural parishes around the Banbury area. Civil registration records are probably a better bet in this case.
