I have searched and searched???????????? My G G Grandfather Edward Tasker I have his death certificate and Marriage certificate and do you think I can find his Birth certificate according to my information he should have been born in 1846 Great Boughton, Cathedral division. I even have 1851 census where he is 5 years old but when I have looked for information on his birth it is invisible. can any one help me please----------------

Hello Frances

Do you have Edward's marr cert there? What are the names of the two witnesses,as quite often they turn out to be older brothers and sisters.
I have found quite a few of mine like that(costs one extra birth cert -but so what!)

Have you also considered the possiblility that his parents never actually did register his birth.I'm sure we all have one of those who we will never actually be able to find.

Just a couple of suggestions.
