Would it be possible to check out a few Bapts for (cousin members)
James and Ann Colborn had children in Eye according to the 1851 census
I havent been able to locate a marriage for this couple either
he was born in Thorney she in Crowland and had kids in Eye!!!
Ann's maiden could be Fordham
They were
Betsey Colborn bc1837
Catherin Colborn bc1839
Marthy Colborn bc 1846
There was a son Robert born in 1844 Thorney.
There seems to be a gap which I suspect Betsey and Catherin were
from another marriage?
The whole family disappear after the 1851 census
3 members of Ann's family end up in Tasmania in much the same
farmland as Northside Whittlesea...There are no Colborns in Tas
but a James Colborn died in 1851 in NSW no parents listed...suspicious.
Registration didnt commence until 1856.
