Family Tree - TMG Silver UK Edition

Hi
I have the Create Your Family Tree - The Master Genealogist Silver UK Edition.
As I was going through options I tried to see if I could convert the data into xls.  After doing this (which I don't think worked) I am now unable to open up any of my information and can't seem to find a way to get it back.
Please help! :'(

Hi Sharon,

I have the TMG - Gold Edition - probably similar to yours.

Have you a back up of your original data?

Can you open the programme to start with?

There is a forum for asking questions - do you have that address?

I only use TMG - good software - but haven't tried many of the options.

Thanks for your reply. 
I had backed up on a disk but that does not seem to be working either.
When I try to open the document it asks me if this the correct version, I say yes but then it goes back to the previous screen to start the questions again.
I went to their own website and put in a log asking for advice but still to hear back.
Can you give me the forum you mentioned, I'll give that a try.
