From IGI Mary Collinson m Francis Stubbs 10 Oct 1832 Holy Trinity Kingston Upon Hull. Have found baptisms for 2 children Helen Collinson Stubbs 21 Aug 1834 Pocklington and Elisha Collinson Stubbs  08 Aug 1833.

A Elizabeth C did marry William Robson he was a draper you can look at then on the 1881 census ref: RG11/4733 folio 17 pg 28
Pocklington.

Thanks for the information.  I had found the C. Robson and thought it could be Collinson.  Will check out the Elizabeth C. and William Robson.  Soon as I send the message.  Also thanks for the Stubbs information as well.

Just found the baptism for the Elizabeth C. ....   Elizabeth Collinson Robson  baptised 19 May 1839  Fridaythorpe, Yks.

Parents  Michael and Mary Robson.

so I am sure this is the right Elizabeth C.  The parents of Michael did live in Fridaythorpe  so looks like they had Elizabeth baptised there.

Could you please send me the census information. I really appreciate all the help you have given me.

Next week I am going to the family history center and I am going to order in the parish records for Pocklington and the church records for Fridaythorpe and hopefully I will be able to find out more informatin. 

As I am not 100% sure that Michael Robson died  as I am sure I have found Mary Robson on the 1881 census listed as married and I checked on free bmd site and have found a couple of Michael Robsons' death.  The problem is I knew for sure there are two Michael Robson's they are first cousins as two Robson brothers married two Mintoft sister.  And they used the same names for quiet a few of their children. So it is making it interesting researching these families.

Anne - I'm descended from Matthew and Michael's youngest brother, Simon. Believe I saw an old post of yours about this family on the driffield forums - certainly hope to speak with you, we have many common relatives and interests, even if not direct ancestry! lol
