William Spence and Barbara Smith, 1853, marriage

My gg grandmother was Jane Russell Spence and it is possible these were her parents.  I have found 2 dates and 2 places for what I feel is the same marriage on familysearch.org.  Are there GRO records covering these marriage dates and is there any way to find out if they had a daughter Jane Russell Spence born in Ireland in either 1854 or 1855?  If they are the correct people, they then emigrated to Canada in 1862.

Hi Peggy,
I don't think you have the right Marriage for the parents of your GGGrandmother, if she was meant to be born in Ireland....
This couple William Spence and Barbara Smith,
(her father was Thomas Smith)

Thank you so much for this information.  Have to keep looking.  I forgot to specify that although Jane was born in Ireland, the 1901 Canadian Census says that she was Scotch descent. So I looked for a marriage in Scotland.  I had found a christening for Jane Russell Spence in 1854 in Ireland and it said the parents for that christening were William Spence and Barbara.  I thought it was worth a try to see if these could be the right parents.
