I have really run into a brick wall, with the parent's of my great great grandmother Mary Ann Ghent/Jent, Mary ann was the mother of my Great Grandmother Catherine Martindale, Mary Ann was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England abt 1863, to Martin Jentes and  ??, who i would like to find out about,

In 1871, it looks like his wife is called Mary, also born Ireland...the children all seem to have been born in Liverpool though, so the birth certs should give her maiden name. Will look for some references for you...
