Have just received  the 1841 Girthon census

In alphabetical order
McQUARRIE Jane ,5
McQUARRIE John, 25, cotton spinner, Scotland
McQUARRIE Lochlan, 1
McQUARRIE Mary,20
McQUARRIE Rebecca 3
All Swan St 5

The 1841 census does not give relationships or marital status.
Scotland means born in Scotland but not in Kirkcudbrightshire.
Hope this is helpful.   Mary
Kirkcudbrightshire : McMurray/ie, Haining, Hanning, McAdam, McClune.
Ayrshire: Livingstone
East Lothian: Anderson
