Dear Arrowroots

Many, many thanks for the information. I have learnt more today on this web site then I have for months.
I have been going backwards from my fathers, birth and marriage, his father (walter walters) birth and marriage, and then Morgan Walters and Mary's marriage certificate, then 1881. For months I have had no new information.
And only the name Walter Walters my great, great grandfather.

Again many thanks

David

Sorry I called you arrowroots and not arranroots

Again many thanks for your help. I have not found any walters yet at Treherbert.
I was born in the house my father was born in Plac, Terrace, Fleur de lis, and it was often called flower by those that lived in Pengam themselves, There was a pig farm at the top of the street, and a small ice cream making shop etc.
My grandfather (walter) was in the same mine in Pengam that his father worked, my grandmother was a cook in the Fluer de lis primary school, my father followed her into the kitchen and was a chef all of his life. Better than the miners.

Must go out now.

Thanks again David
