Yes Those three children have parents listed as Charles and Sarah. I can't see a marriage....There is a marriage of a Charles in 1835 that is all...I can't see a burial for Charles Im afraid....I think you need to to check the parish registers and see if there is another Sarah born about that time to Sarah. I would expect that if her mother was married a father would be listed at marriage, even if deceased, but I guess stranger things have happened.....Kris

Just a thought...Do you have the full details of the marriage to Thomas Wickham? That should list if she is widowed at that time....Kris

I see in 1851 this chap has a wife Anne and dau Eloise Anne 17 and Son Alfred H 13 in 1851 and he lists as born Kingston Deverill and living Wylye in 1851 so I think it is the same family

Hi Kris

Thanks very much for the look ups. That family of Pressleys is the right one. I was hoping for some living-in in-laws, but that was not to be!! I have a family bible with the Pressleys in - the girls are actually both called Eloisa but this is never correct in the censuses.
