Rokerman

Have found some information on your Richard Walker from an old post

"Richard was tried 1813 in Middlesex, and his family came with him on the Somersetshire, who were -

Mary (his wife) died 1823 Sydney
Emma, his daughter
Maria, his daughter

According to the Colonial Secretary's papers for 1821 Sep 8, Richard, Mary and three children were being victualled.  I'm looking for this third child.

1814 Oct 14:  Richard was forwarded to Windsor for distribution

Richard Walker received his CP Jan 31 1820

The 1828 census has him living with his daughter Emma and her husband Samuel Evans"

I will send the contact's email to you by pm

I did see the entry for Dorothy but when I saw the other posting I thought I would let you know about it.

The lady in question may not have been sure at the time of who Richard's wife was.

This must be a bit confusing for you but I checked the General Muster List of NSW 1823, 1824, 1825 and this was the entry for Richard Walker per Somersetshire 1814.

44011 Richard Walker CP, Somersetshire 1814, Life, Clerk in Sydney
44012 Emma Walker, 17, CF, dau of Richard Walker per Somersetshire
44013 Maria Walker, 14, CF, dau of Richard Walker Sydney
44014 Mary Walker, CF, wife, died 1823 Sydney
