Ryde burials are currently being transcribed:
http://www.rydecemetery.org.uk/index.htm

No Dawsons yet I'm afraid but it says,
"If you have an ancestor buried in Ryde Cemetery but cannot find the information on our pages, it may be because we haven’t reached that particular grave yet. Please contact us, giving as much information as you are able and we will endeavour to locate the grave and record the details for you."
 Sounds like a good service.

Hi Jenny,

The Isle of Wight FHS are in the process of producing an online index to BMD - unfortunately it only covers the years 1990-2000 for deaths so far.  They do have CDs for sale via Genfair of their Burial Index.  Unfortunately I don't have them, but maybe someone else here has.

My hampshire burial index only goes up to 1837 and it doesn't include IOW either.  :-\ Sorry!!
