TONKS Birmingham

Hi

I have hit a brick wall and need lots of help if you can.

I am looking for the Tonks family - those being:

Frank Tonks born 1910-1912 March (he fibbed on his war docs to enter the army!)

John Patrick Tonkshis father.

Lilly/Lillian/Lilian Tonks his mother.

Frederick Tonks his brother

and I believe one other brother. Possibly John

I know before 1936 they lived in Aston Birmingham and that when Frank married in 1936 his dad John had died (he was a commercial traveller)

I have Franks war records but the information regarding his family is little. He seemed to lie about his age to gain entry into the army and the addresses listed are not on any census records that I have found so far.  (81 Frankfort Street, Birmingham)

I would be very grateful for any info/help you can give me.

Many thanks
Tonks in Birmingham. John, Lilian, Frank,Frederick. Where are you all?? Aston is mentioned. This side of the Tonks seems to be missing from all family trees - where are you all hiding??
