The book that you are referring to on Dumfries & Galloway Family History Society website is it the “Canonbie MIs” and is George Bells Wife Sarah Eliza listed?

There seems to be only one Stotha)ert but it wasn't your Sarah.
I'll check whether she appears as Sarah Bell.
