I need some help please

I am looking for Francis Shaw c 1813 according to 1851 census he was born Down Ireland
I have been tracking various Shaw's in the area and all appear to be Presbyterian
problem is I am pretty sure Francis Shaw would be Roman Catholic his daughter Sarah Shaw married James Rafferty he was also born 1841 Ireland ,they married 1867 Hexham Northumberland  at a R.C. Church I know the Rafferty's were very defiantly strong  R.C. as my mother was banished from the family in 1939 for daring to Marry my father who was church of England, as all my  ancestors are all from Ireland on my mothers side I am really struggling and I have just switched from my McKnight nightmare

Don't rule him out because he might be Presbyterian. There was more intermarriage than people think.  My own family, for example, and I know of plenty of others.

yes I have seen those entrys for Francis Shaw and noted once again [Prebyterian] just wish I could find a marriage for Francis which I believe was Northumberland as his wife Hannah was born there  found the children and they were all R.C.and all married in R.C.churches

I wish i new the answer to that  ? just thought I will get one of their kids birth certs and that will give her maiden name I never thought about doing that what am I thinking of ?my brain is just not working at the moment

I now know why I have no certs for the kids cant find any of them on IGI or free BMD
does any body want my

because they are driving me bar my
