1841 Census lookup ALLAN HENDERSON born 1806

Hoping someone can help me find the following:

ALLAN HENDERSON, born 1806 in Cleish, Kinross.  Died 1847 in Glasgow, possibly living in Richmond Street.

Believed to be living in Glasgow between 1835 and 1847.

Can any one help locate this person?

There is a 28 yr old Allan Henderson living in Tradeston in the 1841 index for Glasgow.

With him is Mary Henderson aged 8 & Catherine Henderson aged 2

The only other 2 Allans are much younger

In the Barony Parish Index there is a 40 yr old Allan Henderson living in the Bridgeton area. He appears to be on his own.

there are no other Allan or Alan Henderson listed in Barony.

Thanks for the extremely fast response!   Neither sound like my relative.  It is possible he was abroad for the census.  Thanks again for looking!

Could I impose upon you to see if there is a GEORGE HENDERSON in Glasgow?  He is listed as executor on ALLAN HENDERSON'S will as a merchant.

The only George I have as a relative would be Allan's uncle and that would make about mid 60s in 1841, but it could be a cousin I'm not aware of.

In the barony Parish there are 3 George Hendersons ..
1 aged 88 living in Calton area
1 aged 35 living with Mary Henderson age 20 in Bridgeton
1 aged 35 living with margaret aged 35 and 4 children William 9, David2, Margaret 12 & Agnes 7

In the main Glasgow City/Gorbals index there are 19 George Hendersons of varying ages ... only one in his 60's
Innerhigh area George henderson aged 65 living with James aged 56 Sophia aged 55 and Sophia aged 19

Further research shows that ALLAN's sister HANNAH HENDERSON married a GEORGE HENDERSON.  Perhaps the George mentioned on his will is his brother-in-law?

Is there by any chance a George and Hannah Henderson listed.  Hannah would have been born in early 1800s, I don't know about George.

There is no George and Hannah pairing .....

The only Hannah Henderson is listed as living in St Enoch area she is aged 40 and has children Joseph 16, Jane 8, Catherine 4 & William 2
