Hello again Murray ,

I meant to show you my Melicans since my post in 2006 but left it off !!

John Melican b 1808 mar. Bridget Brennan B 1820 both of Kilbaha

Parents of my GGGrandmother Catherine (Melican) Harris  b. 1845 Kilbaha, her brother Michael John Melican, married Bridget Brennan in 1879 Scattery Island , their  son John Michael Melican and  also married a Brennan, Christina in 1907. Like I said I visited a very old Graveyard in Kilbaha, I found an almost unreadable Brennan grave but could find no Melicans at all.  It was a last minute visit on a Sunday afternoon , I went to the Little Ark but there was nobody around to ask.  Any information on Melicans in Kilbaha would be appreciated. I know that John Melican 1808 had three brothers Stephen, Daniel and Patrick, all the Melicans were Pilots.

I've spent all afternoon looking for Blakes in Kilbaha and surrounding areas and Coleman in Ennis.

Didn't fall across any Melicans on my travels though
