Does anybody have any information on Benjamin Townrow born 1747. He married Mary Saunders in 1772, in Normington Notts. Any further info will be greatfully received.

I know that this post is really old and probably worthless to anyone, and it was to me until I unlocked my family tree and found that the people mentioned by Marc are at the top of my tree and I am unable to go further myself.

I would like to get in contact with Marc if possible but despite messaging him I receive no reply - does anyone know of anyway I can contact him?

I plead for any help off anyone.

Paul.

Hi Paul

As its been over 2 yrs since Marc last checked in to Rootschat I dont think he is likely to check back in now.

I think the best thing you could do is to start your own thread asking for info about this family.

Good Luck

Or just hijack this one?  :-[

The marriage referred to was in Normanton on Trent 25 June 1772 and Benjamin is described as of the parish of Newark.

Any idea why the thread was started on the Buckinghamshire board?

Hi Mark - welcome back.  ;D  Hope you'll stay this time, when you see how wonderful we all are!!  8) ;)

I'm still curious as to why you started this thread on the Bucks board. Had you found some info that connected Benjamin to Bucks in some way?
