Hi Chris

The five brothers had four sisters again all born in Mountfield, Sussex.  By the time of the 1841 census they were all married.

Mary Anne born 1791 married George Hardacre born about 1790 in Essex.  Children Mary Ann and Margaret.

Jane born 1792 married George Russell born about 1790 in Surrey.

Sarah born 1795 married Edmund Cruttenden born about 1793 probably in Sedlescombe.

Charlotte born about 1800 married Jeremiah Smith born about 1794 in Rye.  In 1841 they were probably living in Rye.

Apart from Charlotte I don't know if the older sisters were still alive or indeed if they were living in Sussex.  Charlotte and Jeremiah are interesting because he became the Mayor of Rye before his downfall in a corruption scandal that landed him in gaol and made him bankrupt!

If your 'itchy' mouse finger is willing can you find Charlotte and possibly her sisters in the 1841 census?

Thanks in advance.

Roger
