Charlotte LAW - 1806 - Tring
« on: Saturday 21 January 06 13:53 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for information about Charlotte Law, born about 1806 in Tring. She married a James Chapman from Aston Clinton, Bucks and they lived in Wedover where they bought up two children, George and Sarah Ann. James was a labourer and Charlotte was a lace maker. I have not yet managed to trace their wedding.

Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

Regards

Nikki

At risk of overposting, because you have quite a few threads started on this.....

I believe she was probably Charlotte SAW or SAWE.

SAW is a name I'm more familiar with in Tring than LAW.

A Charlotte SAWE married a James CHAPMAN actross the county boundary in Aston Clinton, Bucks on 18th Sep 1826.

James was already a widower at this stage, having apparently previously been married to a Maria WALLIS.

I've updated one of your threads in the Bucks section with the relevant details.
