I am wondering if anyone could let me know of free websites where i can get census or bdm.  as i am trying to get info on the following or lookup the following

Hector McNeil Millar born 1857 married to Jane Meldrum born 1861 Fife

Andrew Millar born 1831 ,married to a Mary Kirkwood Laing born 1831

All around the edinburgh area.  I am mainly looking for census 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 as i already have 1881 on CD.  Also 1891 and 1901.

Hya sherylbadger, Scotlands People for the 1861 - 1901 census, It's a pay per view site but well worth it.  Hopefully we will have the 1851 census in the not too distant future. GEN10
FIFE NAMES:BELL, BEVERIDGE, MCNEILL, HENDERSON, HYND, MITCHEL, WEBSTER.
MIDLOTHIAN NAMES: BLAIR, CROMBIE,  FAIRNIE, GREENLEES, LATTA, PEAT, SNEDDON/SNADDON.
ANGUS: BEAN, COWIE, GOWANS, MYLES, SKIRLING
