Dear Mr. Maclaren,
This may not be of much to you, but I found the reference for Katherine Jenkins's marriage to William Maxwell(Mackison) on the familysearch.org and have copied the webpage info below (I hope the formatting remains intact. If I may ask, why did you include "Mackison" as a potential surname. I ask because one of my ancestors, a William as well, changed his name from Maxwell to Mackison, as did another William Maxwell of a previous generation. Would you happen to have any insight on this curiosity?

DEAR STEVEN MANY THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THE MARRIAGE THIS I DID NOT HAVE
MY G.G.G. GRANDFATHER MARRIED KATHERINE JENKINS DAUGHTER IN KILMADOCK IN1842.
THE NAME CHANGE I THINK WAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH SHOWING SUPPORT FOR THEIR EMPLOYER DURING TROUBLED TIMES NOT REALLY SURE
IF YOU TYPE IN THE SEARCH PAGES HERE MACKISON IT WILL COME UP WITH A GUY WHO HAS A VAST AMOUNT ON THE MACKISONS AND I MUST TRY TO CONTACT HIM SOMETIME.
I HAVE PHOTOS OF THE GRAVES AY THORNHILL WHERE MY MACKISON STAYED ETC. IF YOU LIKE I CAN EMAIL THEM TO YOU .
