Publican records of the Bell Inn, Drew St. Brixham?
« on: Monday 23 January 06 14:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Would there be any way of finding information on my ancestor William Gregory and his family who was the Innkeeper at The Bell Public House, Drew Street in Brixham in 1861 please? Or up to 1871 when he was elsewhere?

Would anyone have any information at all on him as the above is all I know of his time there.
He was a Retired Sea Captain in the 1871 census living at 42 High Street, St Andrews.
And I can't find him before 1861.
Can anyone shed any information on his years please?

ie

When did he become Publican and till when?
Where was he before 1861?
When was he a Sea Captain?
What is/was 42 High Street, Plymouth?
 anything would be interesting
Many thanks
