1851 Census Look up please Seckington in Loughton COMPLETE THANK YOU
« on: Monday 23 January 06 16:35 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone find Daniel Seckington for me please in 1851.

He was baptised in Loughton in 1816 and the rest of his family stayed in the village.  I have no other information about him.

Thank you

I can find a Dan/Daniel Seckington bn 1826 but all the Seckingtons appear to come from Helmdon in Northamptonshire. Only one from Buckinghamshire and Thats Elizabeth bn 1812 Beconsfield. Can I ask for a little more info, e.g where you got the name Seckington?
regards, Sarah

Daniel is the brother of my ancestor George Seckington, son of William Seckington.  William died in 1846 and George in 1839 when his wife remarried.  However their mother Sarah was still alive and was living at Shenley Brook End just up the road in 1861 and in Loughton in 1871.

They also had a sister Hannah who married George Byway in 1832
