Hi Angela,

I have taken another look at what it says when I try to open floppy on new computer. It also says that the file is unsupported.

Maybe, because I didn't use a gedcom to download it to and then send, it wont open at all.

Do you mean download PAF5.2 and then try and load my floppy onto that file? My PAF was only PAF5.

Version 5.2 of PAF is what you need. I'm running version 5.2.18.

Can you tell us the full name of the file on your floppy disc please? Especially the bit after the dot.

All it says is 'LDS Geneology and Family Trees. PAF File. 252KB.'

A couple more questions

Did you upgrade your Win98 PC to XP, or is it a different computer altogether?

Have you downloaded and installed PAF 5.2?

It is a new computer with new XP software installed. The other one was Windows 98.
